Veronica Moser-Sullivan was a vibrant six-year-old girl from Denver, Colorado, known for her outgoing personality and curiosity about the world. Her family described her as a "bookworm" who loved to read, dress up, and negotiate like a much older child. On that night, Veronica accompanied her mother, Ashley Moser, to a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises at the Century 16 theater in Aurora, Colorado. Tragically, a gunman entered the theater and opened fire; Veronica was the youngest of the 12 victims who lost their lives.
