(English title: The Commander's Sword ) is a 1995 Polish fantasy-comedy film written and directed by Jan Jakub Kolski . The film is set in a fairy-tale version of a Polish village and follows Jakubek, an aging former legionnaire who longs to reunite with his deceased wife in heaven.
