Set during a viral outbreak in Raccoon City caused by the Umbrella Corporation's T-Virus, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis follows former S.T.A.R.S. agent Jill Valentine as she attempts to survive. She is relentlessly pursued by a highly intelligent bio-weapon known as Nemesis, which is tasked with eliminating all remaining S.T.A.R.S. members. Aided by mercenary Carlos Oliveira, Jill fights through the city, eventually defeating the creature and escaping just before a nuclear strike destroys the area.
