After Joe mentions his father, Bud , hates people with disabilities, the guys realize Joe has never introduced them. To avoid shame, Joe lies and says he isn't paralyzed. When Bud comes to visit, Peter pretends to be Joe (since he can walk), leading to a series of physical gags and awkward situations. Eventually, Joe confronts his father, leading to a surprisingly emotional resolution about acceptance.
