"Nemesis" is a film made for a very specific audience. If you enjoy "low-grade British gangster sagas" and aren't bothered by familiar clichés, there is enough here to keep you entertained for 88 minutes—especially with its unexpected third-act twist. However, if you're looking for the next Snatch or The Long Good Friday , you might find this one a bit "thin".
Known for his roles in The Bill and EastEnders , Murray brings a "smooth and charming" but "cold and ruthless" energy to John Morgan.
Some viewers found it to be a "good solid home invasion thriller" with a nostalgic 70s feel. Fans of independent British cinema appreciated the "horror twist" that subverts typical mobster movie expectations. The musical score by Robert Geoffrey Hughes and Chris Hurst was also highlighted as adding significant production value.
