Overwhelmed by the clone, Naruto is nearly consumed by the Nine-Tails' offer for power. However, hearing his father Minato’s voice, he manages to control the chakra and enters a unique, incomplete Tailed Beast Mode (often called "Bijuu Mode 1.0") to defeat the clone.
Naruto destroys the clone, the ancient power recedes, and Dokku successfully saves Shiseru. The village head, reincarnated by Kabuto, kills the traitor Disonasu before being released from the jutsu.
The arc ends with a time skip showing Dokku and Shiseru married and living happily with the orphans, while Kabuto is seen preparing his army of reincarnated Akatsuki and Kage for the upcoming Fourth Shinobi World War.
