Following the events of Episode 53, Jiraiya, the Toad Sage and one of the legendary Sannin, steps in as Naruto’s new instructor. This marks a massive power-up in training quality compared to Ebisu, who was initially tasked with training Naruto.
Naruto’s initial attempts are comical, producing only tadpoles, reinforcing that despite his massive chakra reserves, his ability to mold it effectively is still immature. This sets up the necessary growth for his upcoming battle against Neji Hyuga. 3. Gaara’s Terrifying Power (Kikyō Castle)
Gaara, awakened by his bloodlust, easily kills Dosu using his sand abilities, transforming into a partially possessed state.
While Naruto trains, the episode features a terrifying scene at Kikyō Castle. Dosu Kinuta attempts to kill Gaara in his sleep to ensure a fight against Sasuke in the finals.
