La Casa Bгєho: 1г—2 Apr 2026

Suddenly, a blast of golden light tore through the mist. Eda landed on Owlbert, her expression a mix of fury and "I told you so."

The forest returned to its usual, terrifying self. Luz stood in the dirt, covered in slime, holding a broken bottle.

Eda sighed, hopping off her staff and ruffling Luz’s hair. "Look, kid. Those stories? They’re written by people who want to sell you something. In the real world, you don’t need a prophecy to be important. You saved our skins back there with a trash potion and some quick thinking." La Casa BГєho: 1Г—2

Eda peeked one golden eye open from her nest. "Kid, magic isn’t all flashy spells and saving kingdoms. Most of it is just not getting eaten by your own dinner. Now, take this bag of potions to the market. Consider it a quest." Luz perked up. "A quest? Like a Hero’s Journey?"

"Sure," Eda muttered, falling back asleep. "Just don’t lose the bag. Or your head." Suddenly, a blast of golden light tore through the mist

The journey was a dream. She fought "monsters" that looked like fluffy clouds, crossed bridges made of rainbows, and wore a shimmering suit of armor that appeared out of thin air. King was thrilled, mostly because his "armor" came with a crown that was only slightly too big for his skull.

He was everything a wizard should be. He had a beard that touched the floor, a robe embroidered with constellations, and a staff that glowed with a gentle, inviting light. He introduced himself as Adegast, a keeper of ancient quests. He told Luz exactly what she wanted to hear—that she was special, chosen, and destined for greatness. Eda sighed, hopping off her staff and ruffling Luz’s hair

The battle was chaotic. Adegast used his illusions to create fake versions of Luz’s friends, trying to confuse her. But Luz looked at her hands again. She didn't have magic, but she had something else. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a handful of "junk" she’d found earlier—Eda’s volatile potions. "Hey, Ugly!" Luz yelled.
