The story follows (Taron Egerton), a rebellious, street-smart young man in South London whose father died years earlier during a secret mission. He is recruited by Harry Hart (Colin Firth), codenamed "Galahad," a veteran agent of Kingsman —a top-secret, independent intelligence agency disguised as a bespoke tailor shop.
While Eggsy undergoes a brutal, "Hunger Games-style" training program under the supervision of technical expert (Mark Strong), the organization investigates Richmond Valentine (Samuel L. Jackson). Valentine is a lisping billionaire eco-terrorist who plans to "cull" humanity by triggering mass worldwide violence through free SIM cards, believing it is the only way to save Earth from global warming.
