Rachel auditions for the Broadway revival of Funny Girl . On the advice of her mother, Shelby Corcoran (Idina Menzel), she avoids singing Barbra Streisand and instead performs a solo version of "Don't Stop Believin'," imagining the original New Directions by her side.
